Hey guys. I've been looking for the right 1980's Chevy truck for a year or so. I've been using this website to learn as much as possible about what to look for. I ended up with an 88 K10 Silverado that fits me perfectly and it's more fun to drive than I would have ever imagined!

Nice looking but probably a 1987?

I approve.

Very nice ride!
What's under the hood??? If you have to ask maybe we shouldn't race!

X2, 88s in standard cab are a different body style. I would check the VIN.

well the title to the picture says 85......................... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the confusion but welcome from maryland

Yes, it's an 85. I opted for a carbureted GM 350 crate motor. It's also got a 4 inch lift and 35" tires. I wanted something that looks good but could be driven reliably since I'm not too mechanically inclined (yet).

should of got a kia then lol j/k. you made a good choice (cause they are easy to work on) dont listen to the people who say it will nickel and dime you to death or how many gal per mile. its fun to own a old truck and something to be proud of 'MERICA
