I was wondering if there is anyone who has a listen of all the factory paint options for these trucks. From 73-87, including Chevy and GMC variations. I'm trying to figure out what I would like to paint my truck. Thanks! :)

As in colors or combinations? Both are in the GM Manuals on the site in the tech section.

So I've been poking around and looking at the factory paint options along with newer GM paint options. So I have had an idea. Let me know what you guys think.
I would start with GM's newer, from 2013-14, White Diamond Metallic Tri coat. This is a very pretty color if you haven't seen it. It looks fantastic on the new trucks and Malibu's and Impala's. Along with various other GM models. Then I would have chrome bumpers, grille, headlight bezels, mirrors, drip rails, side marker and tail light trim rings. Also my chrome cab lights and my polished aluminum and copper colored two tone centerline rims. (Which are already on the truck). Now it might sound like a lot of chrome and shiny stuff, but it is really just all the exterior standard parts. The new trucks can come with a good amount of chrome with this paint and it looks very clean, crisp and elegant. The paint is like a pearl off white with metallic. If you google it, you can see how nice it looks.
So what you guys think, I was going for the look of a very cleanly, no option spared, quality restoration style final product. It will still be a 3/4 ton, strong truck with a powerful engine and trans. I'm also going to bedliner the entire frame and suspension, steering parts and rear axle. Along with the inner fenders, much like the modern rust preventer that comes on the bottom of the new trucks.

My $0.02: Unless outside and inside matches, I think changing colors is a bad idea. I just do not like opening the door on an orange truck to find a green interior or popping the hood on a black truck and finding a red firewall, etc.
However, I have seen many older trucks with newer paint colors that I really like. I think it all boils down to attention to detail; as long as quality workmanship and attention to detail is employed, the truck can be devoid of trim or covered in trim and still look sharp.

I completely agree with you on that one! I plan on matching the lower dash metal portion and any other exposed metal to the outsides new color. I'm also going to redo the entire inside and it's trim. I want it to look like the inside and out got the same attention to detail.
Your right on the money about different colors inside and out though! So tacky hahaha.

When I recolored my '77 I took the cab down totally to bare metal then started over. (see my build thread) This meant totally disassembling the enitre rig. Dash, HVAC, glass, doors, etc.
Like JasonS said, a green truck with an orange firewall, or similar is gauche, IMHO.
One other thing, the color you picked out is an awesome color, but being a three part paint it is not for beginners. I hope you have some experience painting, or know someone who is. It is very expensive paint, and your truck should look its best when it is finished.

Oh I will be taking it APART. I can rock a rattle can very well, and a spray gun for a house pretty good. Auto paint however I'm no expert. I will definitely have someone do it for me. I will check out your thread.
