So i installed my sound system 2 10s and I turned it up and 6x9 brackets in corner vibrate really bad with the bass what can I do to make it stop vibrating so bad
-
turn the bass/volume down (http://www.naioa.com/v2/modules/Forums/images/smiles/lol_hitting.gif)
take a picture, i wana say either more screws or a stiffener on the front side but i dont know what your working with.
did you get theses (http://www.73-87.com/my_truck/interior/speakers/speaker3.JPG)
how many screws in it, is it just one? i would think some sort of rubber insulator where it touching would help

Spray the inside of the bracket with a rubberized coating of your choice from a part store. That will absorb the resonance and cure your vibration issue. Good luck. Spray on a couple thick coats
What's under the hood??? If you have to ask maybe we shouldn't race!

Yes I have those brackets but I havent painted them so im gonna spray the inside of the brackets with bedliner spray and I have leftover soundeadner laying around some were hopefully that works bc I like the way the brackets look

Where did you find these boxes/mounts for the 6x9's..? I was debating on how I could get more mid sound in my truck...
