Does anybody have some factory setup, pictures of the fuel filter routing and how it is secured to the inside of the RH frame rail on a TBI truck? My '91 V3500 has had the fuel filter routing changed to make room for 3" Dual exhaust, but it was definitely a 'make due' situation by the previous owner because the exhaust tubing wasn't bent well enough to clear the filter properly.
I am going to be redoing the exhaust and I want to put it back to OEM routing.

I can get you some picts I just bought a 89 from Colorado should be here Wednesday. Send me your email I also have an 87 reg cab 454 tbi with the body off the frame. I can snap some of that too, I'm pretty sure from the drivers door forward are the same on the TBI trucks. Usually where the flexible lines leave the frame rail and head to the Throttle body is things get rerouted and not put back to OEM config.

Looks like I have what you need give me a day or so to clear off frame and snap you a picture.

Basically right near the trans crossmember. There should be a flex hose from the front hard line, the filter goes on the end of that..

Looks like there is a 2" Adel clamp around the filter body?! That is what my factory manuals show, but I didn't see the obvious spot to fasten that clamp to the frame. Plus I don't have the clamp anymore and 2" Adel clamps aren't hanging around in the autoparts or hardware stores. Have to order one.

My fuel filter is just like the one Chris shows, with the clamp being held by a bolt screwed into a threaded hole in the frame rail.

Erik,
These are off my 91 crew just took them, and yes it is a Adel clamp.
