I ordered a drop kit for my truck and i was just wanting to know the stock length for the front springs so i can make sure i got the right ones before i stick them in.
-
Comparing a brand new spring to one that is almost 20 years old isn't going to be a good comparison. Plus the new ones will settle with time just like the old ones did.

yes i understand that i just didn't clarify that i was needing the length of a new standard spring so i could make sure i don't have a 3" drop spring or something crazy.
-
where did you order them from? if it were from a place where i had any doubt they were the right ones, i wouldn't order them
-
all palces make mistakes from time to time it is good to double check
-
When you pull one side out, measure it against the new one. That way you will now if it is lower or now against what you currently have.

I believe the thickness of the springs varies. A thicker spring won't give as much resulting in a higher stance.
Just something else you may want to check.
