Title: HELP with 2" lowering shackles
Post by: daman02 on October 05, 2005, 08:53:00 pm
I got my truck on stands right now to put in 2" lowering shackles on.  Is any cutting required or should they just bolt in?  Any quick responses will be greatly appreciated.

not sure with the 2" shackles, but i had to cut the bed rails to make room for my 4" shackles, might want to look into that.

the guy we bought it from already had them on there. but i think it might be a lifting shackle flipped the other way around. it has 4 or 5 holes for different adjustments.

I just want to level the truck, what do you have to do to put the lowering  shackles on? Do the springs have to come off? any tips would be cool.
