I have an 85 k10 with a 350. It would squeal when accelerating and the heat on until the engine warmed up but wouldn't squeal with the heat off. I changed the belts and now it squeals no matter what and wont stop. Can someone please help me with this

make sure your belts are tight enough. i used to spray belt dressing its really tacky on the belts before i touched them that way i would know which belt was making the noise

Do yall think this has anything to do with those belts that have teeth instead of a full belt. I have an altenator that sqeals when I use the fan and my lights at the same time and it's as tight as possible, there's almost no give.
Has anybody ever been able to find the full none teeth belts? I think this might cure the problem.

its causing the alt to drag with the extra work it need to keep up with the power use. if its a new belt then i would re tighten the belt. i thought i had tighten a belt one as tight as i could get it but then i ended up putting a 2' pry bar on it and it fixed it.

In both cases the alternator belt isn't tight enough, the pulleys are excessively worn, or a bearing is on the verge of failure. Kodalee may have a similar problem with the power steering belt(s), as well.
Best method to properly adjust any alternator belt is to grab the alternator fan and try to turn it by hand (of course, this is with the engine OFF). Adjust the belt tighter until you can no longer turn the pulley fan. Periodically check the alternator belt adjustment using the same method.
