Title: 16" fitment

Will the mid 2000s factory 16" aluminum 8 lug wheels fit my 73 4x4? I've had the factory 2000s steelies on so I'm assuming they will but figured I'd ask. They are all 8x6.5 right?

Yes, I don't know what year they went metric but I have 05 rims on my 85

1967-2006 (AFAIK) will fit lug pattern wise.  Though they will look tucked under the fenders 2 to 3 inches.
