Im not the best search box person and dident find what i was lookin for ....So... thought id ask
has anyone tryed a setup like this ?

reason im askin is that it sounds like a nice idea for being in the woods when u need to really REALLY go slow and mabye pull a trailer in the woods slow when loaded. anyways it was something i came across and thought it was interisting whats everyone elses thoughts on it?

nice info thanks i was woundering if any of u guys used them in off-roading im thinkin of doing a "doubler" in my truck when i buy it i just really like the idea of puttin it in ultra low to where an ant is walkin faster then my truck lol

I have used them on rock crawlers, but for a plain 4x4 I do not think it is worth the money. I used mine a lot in Moab Utah and in the Sierra mountains where if you make a mistake you fall 300 - 500 feet before you hit something.
So having a ultra low gear was a life saver.
