Title: Front and rear differential oil

I have a 85 K20 Suburban that has been kind of pieced together. I was wondering what weight of gear oil I need for the front and rear differentials. I know it depends on what axles I have but really I'm not sure I'm just looking for the standard weights. Could I just go heavy and be safe all around?
