I went to the junk yard and got 2 Taurus fans and was wondering how I can mount them to my radiator

Drill hole at top and bottom of fan.
Drill hole at top lip of Radiator. Using scrap metal Find some screws and mount them.
Or use zip ties. Im thinking about using Zip ties. Ive see it done both ways. Ive also seen taurus fan mounted using radiator tabs,.

i know the parts store has zip tie things that act like a bolt on one side there is a washer 1"-2" and the other side is another washer that slides down the zip tie.

A little more involved than some guys may want to get into, but here is what I did. I made a metal framework that mounts to the original shroud mounting locations using the original bolts/clips.
The fan assy. is from a 2000ish Deville which I mounted to the framework using it's original mounting points. Hard to beat the quality of original OEM fans, relays, wiring, hardware, ect.
As I've mentioned before, I really feel guys are missing the boat not doing more of this type of adapting...put down the Summit catalog, the E-bay searches & so forth...look at what the OEM manufactures are doing & use what you need/want. NO zip ties through a radiator for me thanks. My Two Cents, Lorne

I would NOT mount them through your radiator with those zip ties pictured. I did that years ago with a small oil cooler (much smaller and less vibration than an electric fan). Later a radiator shop warned me to change that or I would develop leaks. I didn't, and sure enough a couple years later a nice radiator was ruined with leaks at the zip tie locations.
