Title: FRONT DROP SHOCKS NEEDED?
Post by: bicent truck on January 01, 2007, 12:05:00 pm
On a 2 and 1/2" front drop using spindles, is it true you do not need drop shocks because the spindles do not alter original geometry of suspension only needed when using coil drop springs. Shouldn't matter but I'm doing a 4 inch on the rear. One more question, can I get spring shims to align driveshaft for the rear at any auto parts store? Thanks

Yes on the shocks and yes on the shims.

Sorry about that...  The dropped spindles don't require dropped shocks.  You can use good stock lenght shocks.
