Had two good friends die that way when I was a teenager. There were three guys in the truck only one was wearing his seatbelt he made it. the other two died instantly. I have buckled up every time ever since.

when i crashed my first impala, i wasnt buckled up. its kind of eye opening when you feel mud and grass on the side of your face after your head goes threw the sun roof. i was lucky i hit a tax ditch cause if would of rolled i would have been out the window. some how the car didnt roll and came to rest on all 4 wheels

I've been lucky not to have used a seatbelt for its use.  but still buckle up since I've started driving... many, many moons ago.
