Title: Recommend for Rear Drop Shock
Post by: bicent truck on January 07, 2007, 09:29:00 pm
What brand would you recommend for a rear drop shock used on 76 C10 with only 2 inch lowering shackles used. I am not interested in hauling or "heavy duty" just the best ride available with a mild drop. I am considering Belltech and looking for your suggestions. Thanks

FOR A 2" DROP YOU DO NOT NEED DROP SHOCKS. I HAVE LOWERED MY 81 GMC AND HAVE NOT REPLACED THE SHOCKS SINCE OVER 4-5 YEARS AND STILL IN GOOD ABSORBING CONDITION. NOT ROUGH AT ALL.....

I want to replace the old rusted out shocks on back anyway, any particular brand better as far as the ride. Again, looking at the Belltech, they have one used for 0-2 inch drop difference, has anyone used them

If you feel like spending some extra money-I think they're about $80 a shock, go with Edelbrock.  The shocks responses change with different road conditions.

I can second the Edelbrock IAS shocks.
