I vote 3/5. You want to keep the body off the deck on bumpy roads.

Long bed 4/6 short bed 5/7

2/4, i just installed a sweet set of long tubes and my 4/6 drop lets them drag so now i have to raise it back to 2/4 so it all depends on what you have hanging under the truck.

I'm pro low rider soooooooooooo, I'd say 6/7 or 6/8 just to give it a little rake. Theres quite a few combinations that you can do to get them low....and unless your roads are filled with potholes and stuff I'd have it hugging the ground

I agree with sano... If it aint sparkin, park it.

My 74 longbed is getting the Summit 3/4 drop this weekend. I'll get pix and post this weekend.

how low did i go i had a 4/6 on my 85 c-10 long box but then i took it all off and bagged it...
-
Dropped my rusty junk 5/5 and lookin to go lower.
-
Well it all depends on the look your goin for and what size rim your runnin'. My '86 short box is on 17" Torq thrust II 255/60 size tires, and it's goin to get lowered 2" on all 4 corners.
The 81-87 C-10 is a fairly level truck (rear end is about 1/4" higher than the front end). My taste is to keep the truck classic but with a modern twist. Plus a 2" drop all around only costs about $185, and you don't need to buy shocks.

to the doors! but that's just me

6/6 for a rake, but long tubes will be real close to the ground. I'm at 3/6 and need to put my 3" spindles on to get the 6/6. I will get to it one day.

Go low.Go with bags and go as high or low as you want.I like shaved80, comment to the doors..
