How many degrees should my vacuum advance, advance the spark on a 350?

it should be only 20° so lets say you set your timing at 16° your advance should be 36°. now not all advances are the same stock is different than aftermarket and 20° should be stock
You want 36* of advance at 3000 rpm with the vacuum advance disconnected.  For stock distributors, this should 16* at idle with the vacuum advance disconnected.
