Title: New guy from AZ
Post by: Gdeorta on February 15, 2014, 01:02:40 am
Hey everybody my names Gabriel, just recently purchased an 87 R10 that needs some TLC. My plan is to drop a 5.3 in it, if the OG motor is to far gone. Lower it slightly and put some Boss 338 on it. I do paint and body work so that'll be no problem, I'm kind of impatient so hopefully I can get it done fast........ Some questions I'd like to ask, I really don't think this is normal but, the driver side frame rail moves when I turn the wheel, it moves left and right as I turn the wheel. I haven't got underneath it to check it but  don't think it should do that. Anyone have that happen to them, advice? Should I just punt it and get another?

Heres the only pic i have of it.

Thanks guys, it moves after the steering so I'm guessing it's cracked there I'll check it to be sure... As far as fixing it any ideas? Just weld it back up?
