Title: dome light install
Post by: 75_chevy on February 21, 2014, 04:03:33 pm: just installed a dome light. pretty simple but I like to show off little projects.

just marked where I wanted it with a pencil. if you plan on doing this either go an inch below or an inch above where I have marked. where the cab top meets the cab there is a lip that interfered with the light. somewhat.

Post by: 75_chevy on February 21, 2014, 09:17:00 pm: thanks guys. yea at first I tried pushing the electrical wire straight down the chute through the cab opening, then did the wire trick. woulda been smoother if the wire wasn't all curled up as there are cab supports in the corner that were hard to squeeze by

light gets a hot wire from fusebox and is grounded by the switch to complete circuit
