Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get the front inner fenders out without removing the front fenders? Mine are rotted as most are and I need to replace them.
-
Yes it is. Just undo all the bolts along the front, back and sides. Also remove anything bolted to the top side of the inner fenders under the hood, i.e. bottle jack, tire tools, windshield washer fluid bottle, battery tray. Then if everything is disconnected, with some wiggling it should just drop down over the tire, then just roll it out. Might have to roll the front or back half out first then the other side. It's pretty easy tho, I've done it a couple times.

Depending on tire size, you might have to jack each side up a little to give your self more room.

Cool thanks guys. With 37's on it I think I'll just pull the wheels off and set it on jackstands.

Probably a good bet.

Sounds like a plan!

Are you using new inner fenders and if so where did you get them from. Thanks Jim

Yes sir Jim. You can buy them for this website's store and have them shipped to you! I live in the KC area and two certain "well advertised" truck parts warehouses are right down the street, relatively speaking. These happened to come from the one you see the most on T.V.
