One little step is missing, ensure you have jack stands under the frame, up high enough so when you lower the lower control arm with a jack, you'll have enough room to lower that baby a lot to get the coil out. You cannot over state---BE CAREFUL! She'll pop out in a heartbeat if it binds or something and you could get an instant facelift. SgtDel

I recommend adding a step if you go this route. Wrap a large chain around the lower portion of the spring and thread it through the control arm or around it.... Chris Lucas
