This is a project that started in 1991. Frame off full restoration. But heck we did use the original 37k mile firewall and cargo floor. All brand new GM NOS OEM body parts are being used. Hope to be finished by summer.

So from the picture on photo bucket looks like a 73 blazer project you have going there. After 23 years you must be excited to get it back together and running.
Keep the pictures coming.

Yes it is a 73 Blazer and so excited to see it making its resurrection. The panels are all fitted and in primer at the moment. So not much longer. Will include more pictures to the link soon. Hopefully upon reassembly all the parts are there or there will be more delays since its all GM.

Just nailed down the last GM body part for my build. It is a good feeling knowing everything is all original quality.
The last part I needed for my build was a tailgate. The tailgate I had was flawed so I thought about looking for a different one. Funny thing is I had not started looking. A guy I have been friends with since high school asked me the other day if I knew of someone looking for a good tailgate? Good? This one he had was perfect. No dents anywhere.
So I bought it.
I told my wife it is like the good Lord wants me to build my truck. The timing couldn't be better. It too good to be a coincidence.
So yeah, the all GM body parts are good source of pride. I hope it doesn't take 23 years to build mine, but I am up to 5 years in. :)

A few pictures of all the panels installed with a base primer coat. Now its currently in the Glasurit primer and headed for paint Thursday. We decided to paint it a Copper Brown Metallic, its very close to stock but a little more Orange than the factory color. This truck will be for sale soon. Things in life have changed an a sale is a certainty. :'(

Its finally home and I added some new pictures to the photobucket link. I so look forward to the next few weeks of final assembly and getting the new interior, seats, carpet, tires, glass, weatherstripping, Oh dang I got a lot of work still ahead. Leaving factory radio in dash and installing custom stereo in the console.
