Guys i need some help. I recently put the white guage faces on my 87R10. When i did this i did NOT remove the speedometer guage. Now the speedometer will not go above 35mph... Any suggestions of what may be wrong before I take the dash back apart????

I was into my gauges last night and I noticed how easily the needles move. I would also think that a very small amount of friction may cause them not to move. My guess is that the gauge is sticking on the new sticker somehow.

That would be my guess also, I would make sure it is not getting stuck on the sticker at 30 MPH.

There are two little screws on the speedo and fuel gauge, which may be causing your problems. You will want to remove those so the sticker does not go over them. You can see them showing through on mine (little black circle on either side of needle in the speedo, the fuel ones do not matter as much as the needle is only part sweep, but I changed mine after photo so they looked them same). Hope that helps you, and if you have any more questions shoot, I have these sticker on my K10 and have had them on my old s10.

I like the look of Blazing816's gauges. Question. Is that a 2" NITROUS Tachometer?
-
blazing816, those really made the gauges look new, hard to believe they are just stickers.

Yes it was the only 2" tach I could find, and with this truck I did not want to mess with the fuel or speedo.

Only the fuel and speedo are stickers. The four on the left are aftermarket (I am assuming you knew that, but want to make sure no one else is confussed). Yeah when I put the four aftermarkets in, since mine were dead and PO put different motor in and didn't keep any of the original senors. The two black stock gauges did not look good anymore, so I had to do something with those. Once the tons of snow melts around here and it get warm, I am actually going to paint the two stock needles red to match the other gauges.
Here is the write up I did on them:

I am having a problem with my Speedometer now working at all. The Miles work but its not showing what my speed is? Any Possible ways to fix it without having to replace the speedometer cable?

You prob lost the clip holding the inner part of the cable from pushing too far back into trans. That or you pull the cable off a little when messing with putting stickers on. Check and make sure it is pushed in all the way. But cables are not that hard to replace, but I am one that went through three before I found one that would not bounce. I would stay away from the aftermarket or regular auto stores ones they will sell you. I went on amazon and bought the AC Delco one for same price as the aftermarket ones and it works like a champ!!!
