Not sure what you are asking. Are you asking how do you paint the interior of your cab, or using home interior paint, or redoing door panels or ?
If you are asking plain paint, it is like painting the outside of your truck. A little more info please.

I know they have paint specifically for painting the plastic on the inside of the trucks. I was wondering if anyone had used it and how it turns out.

I painted all of my interior pieces with Duplicolor interior paint. It looks good and has held up well. The only exception is the soft vinyl armrest in the door panel on the driver's side--it is rubbing off a little there.

I have painted several with SEM paint and all held up well. The dealerships also did this for vehicles and still do..
The mid door panels in this pic where the seatbelt is was painted, it was maroon before:
