I have a 1977 3/4 TON 4X4 with a 350 engine manual trans. I want to run 3inch single outlet exhaust. And just got free full length headers. My question is I cant find a y pipe anywhere does anybody know a part number or where to get one maybe prices too?

This pipe may work for you http://www.summitracing.com/parts/jex-u6-6/overview/ but I also agree that 3" is too big to use for the entire system.
2.5" or 2.25 off the headers is large enough for anything up to about 350 hp, and then run 3" for a single tailpipe.

3rd agree, what size is your headers ? If they are 2.5 then run 2.5 pipes all the way back. Do you have to run a catalytic converter ? If not then don't, the goal is 0 back pressure, the muffler even if it's 2.5 in and out will create some back pressure, some more than others just depends on the style of muffler you use.

The only reason my truck has 3 inch duals is because it was on there when I bought the truck the drone is annoying I just dont want to spend any more money on an exaust

If you have excessive drone and do not like it, they sell resonators to fit at the end of the pipes that are suppose to be really good at taking drone out of vehicles (my charger has them at the back before it exits the car). I hate drone, the certain pitch hurts my ears, so I do a lot of research before buying a system.

I have been thinking about resonators
