73 c20 Cheyenne super camper special 350 350.
It has been a while since my last post. Was.. uhh... out of pocket for the last 4 months. Anyway, I rear ended an f150 that slammed on there breaks for no apparent reason and caused some damage to the body of my truck. Hood, driver side fender, bumper, grill, front clip, driver door. The fender looks pretty rough, along with the hood so I figured it would be best to replace those. The grill being plastic will need to be replaced I guess (small top section is shattered. The front clip has a decent dent up close to the hood near center, it also has a bend, fold, or crease below the grill. Can I fix this myself, or would I have to bring it to a body shop, or replace. To replace seams like a lot of work, especially for someone with no body experience. Any knowledgeable input would is highly appreciated.

yes, please take some pictures. as far as if you can do it or if you will need a shop... it depends on you. if you want dents fixed and painted go to a shop. it is normally better to let them (us) do the body work before paint unless you are experienced at this. sometimes trying to fix a dent the wrong way can cause bigger problems. as far as parts that need to be replace, you can do that yourself if you have standard tools and time. its all just bolts and almost all of use have tore down / rebuilt plenty of these trucks and can walk you step by step threw the process.
With that being said, if i were you would hunt for some parts and replaced what was not worth fixing (we can help you determine this if you provide pictures) after all the parts replacing is done i would take it to a shop to have all the minor dents fixed and get it painted the same color as your truck. Im actually suppose to be picking up an 82? chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 next week to fix. it rolled down a drive way into a tree. I haven't looked at it yet so im not 100% sure but it should have similar damage to your truck, so i should be able to post tear down pics of needed.

Thanks for the responses. I will take some pics later tonight or tomorrow when the wife is around. I don't have a smart phone. The most simple way for me to post pics is to take them with her phone and email them to myself.
