okay everybody ive got some questions i hope yall can help with my 82 k20 th350 as dad says ''screwed the pooch'' yesterday. now i have a 83 parts truck that has a good th350 and a 241 case will this transmission work the 82s tcase is a 208 or do i need to swap transmission and case if thats the case will my k20s driveshaft work or will i need another one im not a transmission guy ive had 2 autos work succesfully after rebuilding thanks for any help it is appreceated both engines are 350s

A 241 never came behind a TH350, they came out in 1989 and the TH350 was long phased out.. I pretty sure it is a NP208. So it will work fine.

the tag on the case says 241 im not a transmission guy so its got me lost i dont know if the tag could have been changed heres what the tag says 241c 15624673 67 89 3 272 ratio its the screw on new process tag im not saying it isnt a 208

are you sure the parts truck is a th350??? or could it be the 700r4/4l60???
-
It could have been swapped. The 241 replace the 208, so it should swap. Can you verify that the trans is a TH350?

im 100% positive it is a th350

the th350 is a 27 spline trans, the 241 is either a 32 OR 27. the np208 is a 27 also (so is the 700r4.4l60) but you should be able to swap the adapter plates and t case and use the other drive shafts as long as the beds are the same

thanks they are both longbeds so it should work i had a buddy wanting to buy the 241 now he dosent know if he wants it or not so it may go in the k20
