anyone run into this? When I first put in my motor, tried on pcv valve and installed everything accordingly. Loss vacuum and engine started bogging down like it was going to die. Take pcv off and just popped in a breather on one side, and oil cap on the other side valve cover and engine idles beautifully. Ideally, would like to run pcv valve. You think it might just be a bad valve (it is brand new)? or am I leaking vacuum anywhere else which is causing low vacuum in the first place? Last time I checked, and if I remember correctly, I have 15-16 pounds vacuum.

If the PCV valve rattles when you shake it, it should be good. It sounds like it was stopped up, but... Where did you hook it up at?

full vacuum port on holley street avenger carb to driver side pcv valve cover. Hmm... I just don't want to buy another pcv valve and waste any money. Yes, I know they aren't that expensive. Will do more research. Anyone else run into this problem prior?
