Title: Slow speeds on website
Post by: bake74 on March 28, 2014, 07:11:04 am: Is anyone else having problems with speeds on this website ? Sometimes it is fast, other times it takes up to 30 seconds to change a page or post.
No it is not my computer. All the other web sites and forums are fast, just this one site is slow sometimes.

I have thought the same thing, but when I have gone back to the home page and looked to see how many users were on, it was nothing more than an average day and sometimes less than 100.

5:00 am on the west coast, and both of these just happened to me. I wonder if Capt. has seen this post yet ?

one issue i do have is when i log in and click view new posts it takes me to all the new posts since my last visit and sometimes it will say there are 2 or 3 pages and when i click page 2 it reloads page 1 and there is no longer more than one page of new posts ???

Post by: bd on April 03, 2014, 09:32:40 pm: Chris, it still takes excessive time to load pages and has for several weeks. At least once every day I get a "connection problem" error message. There's a bottleneck somewhere.
