Currently building a 350 with vortec heads does anyone know if I can use the push rods from a 305? If not does anyone have any ideas thanks in advance

Pushrods are pretty cheap. Why not get a new set? People assume they do not wear but they typically endure a tremendous amount of galling and fatigue. Are you running a roller cam block?

No just a regular flat tappet setup

I plan on using comp cams kit  12-235-2 which include new springs retainers timing gear and keepers

Be careful of the lift on your can. Vortec heads can't go to .050 lift without spring bind!
