I want to put headers on my truck but dad says that they leak bad,,, unlesss they changed a lot in 15 yrs hehe anyway do they still leak bad? if not what brands/types should i look at... im 16 not a lot of $$ coming in thanks

I run dynomax ceramic coated. I have had no problems, but i had to make my own ac bracket to get em on. Every once in a while i'll go out and make sure the bolts are tight. They run about 200 bucks. They're worth it.

another vote for the dynomax. add true duals with flows and it made lots of horsepower in my 79 gmc 4x4. i wrote a topic on it in here, has pics too, look under exhaust complete. as long as you use good gaskets and check on the tightness from time to time you should be alright. whatever you buy get the coated ones or else they will look like huge turds hanging on to your engine. Headman or Hooker..........but doug thorleys have a nice thick flange where the header mounts to the head. Look for thick flanges and thick gauge tubing. I do recommend coated headers cause pained ones will flake right away.

may as well order up a pkg. of stage 8 locking header bolts($35.00) will be the best thing you ever did....
