i have a 1987 Chevy 3/4 ton long bed with a 305 TBI attached to a turbo 400. I got my hands on a 97' Tahoe with a 350 vortec in it. So my thoughts were to swap the 305 TBI with the 350 votrec. I'm starting to wrap my head around the swap but the only foggy thing I'm having a hard time with is the electrical. Is the a forum that can take the stock vortec harness and delete some wires to make it work. Painless has the wiring harness but trying to save some money to rebuild the 350 vortec. I know that I'll need a high pressure fuel pump. Other than that is there any other problems i will run into this swap.

Swapping out the Vortec is pretty simple as should bolt right in. You just need the pinouts for the harness and remove what you don't need.
