does any one have any ideas on how to put an end to wheel hop?i have a 75 silverado with a .040 350,eagle crank, eagle rods, .280/.480 cam, 2500 stall with 3.73 gears. on street tires it wheel hops bad and i know on slicks it will probably be worse. any ideas will help. dont have a lot of money to spend, probably like a lot of people. thanks

Traction Bars? I believe wheel hop is caused by axel wrap, which is the axel trying to "wrap" itself in the springs...caused by torque. If you have any lift blocks in the rear the axel wrap will be increased.

Cal-tracs are the best traction device for leaf spring equipped vehicles. Do a search to find them, you will like what you read.
