Just swapped a 350 into the truck. Itsa a 4 speed manual it wont crank all the way over but does crank a bit... i attached wrench to crank and can crank engine over with the vehicle in gear.... Any ideas? the starter is engaging is my clutch possibly not dis engaging? Help please!

Did you replace the starter cables when you put in the new engine? They go bad after 10+ years, but may work fine until disturbed. You can check them by putting a voltmeter from the starter hot terminal (where the big red cable connects) to the frame, and reading the voltage while someone cranks the engine.

Ok i will check the cables. What about me being able to crank the crank over with a wrench while in gear? And i believe my battery is dead now i dont know what would be draining it

is it spinning fast enough?
what you mean crank over with a wrench?
are you jumping the starter in gear?
are you getting power (12v) to the distributor?
are you getting spark?
are you getting fuel?
