Title: Flowtech header hitting frame rail
Post by: bigtim98 on May 28, 2014, 09:31:12 am
I just installed a new 355 engine in my 83 K10. The passenger side header (flowtech long tube) sits on or is at least extremely close to the frame rail. I got the header on, but will this clearance issue cause an unforeseen problem down the road? Since the motor and frame move with each other I cant think of any, but would like a second opinion. anyone have experience with this?

I just put some summit headers on my 83 K10. It's close on the passenger side as well, but doesn't cause much issue. Pain for the exhaust guy to run pipe on that side though. I'll snag a pic tomorrow to show how mine looks.
