My 85 SWB. Finally made a the decision not to go with the LS swap. Mainly because the 350 that's in it doesn't have 2000 miles on it. Im gonna be using it as a daily driver. Since the truck was sitting in a field for some years I decided to clean it up a bit and start driving. I put some temporary rims on it that I had in storage. But like anything that's been sitting up for awhile a string of problems started happening. From the transmission going out, bad fuel tanks, bad front end to brake lines seazing. So after a 6 pack of Budweiser and some reading I decided to go through the truck.

getting ready for teardown
-
After tons of dirt and rust finally got the front end apart.
-
Cleaned up the rust and painted the fenders with rust protectant.
-
Rebuilt control arms and new bushings.
-
Didn't have access to a engine hoist so I painted the engine in the frame. Installed new brake lines and proportioning valve.
-
Found a good set of gas tanks at the junk yard for $40 bucks and installed them.
-
My motivation killer.
