Here is my work in progress!
Love this thing to death! Had it for almost 4 years now and it's been my addiction. When I first got it I was 15... I've put this thing through heck! Ha! Since I have owned it I am on my third engine and third transmission (Oops..) All the work that has been done to it mechanically and body wise has been done by myself with the help of friends!
It currently has a 355 with a mild cam, Vortec heads, converted to carb, TH-350(used to have 700r-4).
Just redid the body myself in Auto Body school, I love the way it turned out but I would change so many things now that it is done! Haha
The body is pretty much done, I am looking for original chrome bumpers and I want to do an '88 front end swap since there are no options for '89 grilles.
The interior is stripped which will be refinished again when I get the money. Currently has seats out of an '09 Silverado, with driver side power.
As for the mechanically side... I am trying to save my pennies and dimes for that 5.3 swap everyone is raving about! If I save a few extra ones I may do a 6.2 swap..well, just because!
Tell me what you guys think!
New to the forum, by the way!

It's great that you love it that much, you will take care of it. It's a bonus also you do all the work on it. Welcome to the site from California.

Thanks! There are a lot of things I would like to change, unfortunately money's always tights and starting a life is expensive! Haha
I am still proud of it however, everything I know has been learned from it. All my body skills, and all my mechanic skills. It was been the most amazing learning tool.. Don't think I could ever get rid of it, not even for an outrageous figure.
Glad to be on the site. Love to see what others are up to and how many people have beautiful trucks.
