His name is Joseph. He turns 3 in late August. He has been motorcycle crazy since he was old enough to realize what they were. Loves hot rods too. So we're doing a hot rod bedroom for him. I'll post updates as the project moves along.
So the first part of the project was some junky Goodwill furniture. Got a dresser for $10 and a chest of drawers for $20. Some red Krylon dual spray bomb, two Craftsman emblems from eBay, and some aluminum strip from Lowes. I will try to get the chest of drawers tomorrow.

Might have to make me something like that. you're an awesome dad! :D

Thanks guys.

Got the chest of drawers finished today. The aluminum strips wouldn't work because of the narrow gap between the drawers, so I changed to chrome ductape instead. He loves them so that's all that matters. He actually requested the red toolboxes. Also put some '56 Belair valve covers up.

Could you have surfaced the tops to make the strips work?

Probably not. They are cheapie particle board covered in veneer. No worries. He is 2 anyway, and very anxious to "fix" everything so I'm sure they will be destroyed in no time. LOL!
