Looks like we are going to head down to Charleston, W. Va on Monday, then up to Norwalk, Oh on Tues. & then go back home. Lost track of time & forgot when it was, but decided today that we're going to make a Triangle to check out some vehicles. Hoping to meet some of you. Lorne

Running the Power Tour next year is my goal, come on Captkaos, let's get a few of us organized to run our squares together. Sure would be a lot of fun. I ran it with my best friend some years back in his 71 Newport Custom. Lots of good memories

We completed the Long Haul! Whew. 86 Silverado with original drive train 100k miles. survived with only a blown taillight. Now for the 850 mile ride home. I think it will total about 3k miles in 9 days.

That's GREAT! It's a real bummer we didn't get to meet. With that many vehicles especially spread out for a mile like in W. Va., it's hard to see everything. To be honest, I don't recall seeing your truck which is another bummer. I saw the Red one @ the Holley tent, the nice Black/Red interior '76 (nice people also!) on 20's, the stock Black/Red insert '78 & a Gray one...maybe a Silver one also?
I agree, it would be nice to plan to have a group go, however what I've learned over the years of 12 parts of PowerTours (one long haul) & 3 DragWeeks is everyone talks about it & on the day your leaving, NO ONE you know is going with you...maybe one other vehicle. Just the facts!
Congrats Mike...3000 miles is no joke! It sounds like you have a good wife like mine...for many, that is much of the hangup getting to do something like that. Maybe we will meet up on one another year. Lorne
