This has probably been asked 1000 times so here goes 1001....86K10 w/dash gauges, previous owner added aftermarket temp, oil press and water temp gauges which seem to work fine, thing is....i like the factory gauges and want to get them working again. From what i can see, the original wiring and sending units are still connected as are the aftermarket gauges. The dash lights are dim and none of the 3 factory gauges are working yet everything else does...gas gauge, turn sig, ect ect. Im going to ditch the aftermarket set but want to have readable gauges...any thoughts on the factory set?? bad ground, printed circuit board??

It is easy to check the printed circuit board, then in the tech section, bd did a write up on how to check factory gauges. First make sure all the gauges are actually getting power, then move on to checking the gauges themselves.
