Title: dual tank to single tank fuel guage wiring

Fixing to hook up guage in my 83 c30 last owner cut all the wires off framerail and switch valve. I need to know which wire runs inside cab to operate guage

Should be a pink wire.

Thank you actually figured it out a little bit ago. I just started grounding wires he cut until the gauge moved.
I also discovered that i have a bad resistor on back of fuel guage causing it to show 1\4 tank even when full.
Part number is w-586 if anyone else has that problem
