so i changed my oil in my 2004 impala she now has 120k i have had her since 60k or so. so the plugs i know i never changed and they prob were stock

so these are the front to my surprise they are auto light racing plugs.
so i undid the top motor mounts and pulled the engine forward to get the rear plugs i did break one wire so i had to get a new set

I've seen that before. People are lazy or just dont care. I work at a Chrysler dealer and have seen that with hemi truck engines. They are a pain to do but come on, do the job right.

i know exactly the situation dude
my mom, sister, dad, and myself have all had FWD V6 Chevrolets at one point and indeed the rear plugs are a major pain to get to(worst was my moms 3.4 DOHC Lumina) but come on people do it right, pay someone to do it right, or just dont bother

Maybe you're onto something, Bake. Remove the back three spark plugs and throw them away - better mileage AND cheaper maintenance! 8)

Lol unplug the injectors also. My brother had a neon that had a miss. So dad unplugged the injector ran it like that for years then sold it to some Russians.
