Iam stating to put my 79 together it's a 4×4 k20 I have 6" lift springs in it now and have some 4" lift springs for the rear laying around, I want to run those in the rear with 4" blocks, I have a set of 4" blocks but they have a pin on one side and a hole on the other, it's been a while but if I remember right I need a block with holes in both sides right? Cause the rear axle pad has a pin and so does the leaf spring, anyone know where I can get a set of 4" blocks that will work? Thanks

The spring pack has the pin, and the axle pad has a hole for the pin to fit inside. your blocks should work just fine if they are the same width as the spring

So let me make sure I read that right. You have a 6" lift on your truck now, you are going to use 4" lift springs with 4" blocks for the rear.
What are you going to do with the front of the truck ? Are you going to have 6" in front and 8" in back ?

Correct 8" in the rear and 6" in the front. I can't remember if my truck had a pad on the rear axle when I took it apart it had just the 4" or so lift blocks in the rear from the original lift when I got it (just a 6" lift with rear blocks) when I took the truck apart the rear lift blocks were broken and I threw them away they must have had a hole in each side of the lift block with no pad, I just can't remeber
