Hey guys, this was easy and an evening time waster. I took my sill plates off, since they wouldn't clean up easily and I didn't feel like scrubbing lol, I just painted them.
Quick wash, 2 coats primer, 3 coats paint, 3 coats clear. Look new again.

You went with the black, have to see how well they hold up. Did you rattle can them or spray gun ?

Yea. I should hope pretty good. One day the new carpet kit will be black anyway. Should look better. I never actually step on them, they just kinda are there. I try to go over them straight to the mat. And my girlfriend always climbs over the seat and sits in the middle so she never hits them either.
Just rattle can. I had the priner, paint, and clear all on hand. I have a small paint selection in my garage for this reason. I've done a lot with rattle can and I'm pretty good.
