Taking the cab off and swapping with another cab. The rear body bolts have broken the spot welds for the nut inside the cab. Any ideas? I was going to fold own the back seat and cut a hole to see if I can access the buts and secure them.
-
I have done that and it worked. Then when I was finished just welded the access hole back up, cleaned up the area and painted it. Never knew I was there.

did the same thing but put access panels over the holes so i could get to them again if need be
-
I use a hole saw, then make a cover & rivet them in place. Then if you need to gain access again, simple as drilling out a few rivets.

i used a hole saw on my old 84, then just put rubber expansion plugs in them. worked great

worked out well. I had to heat them up up mapp gas and while the bolts cooled I sprayed them with wd40.
