Title: Wheel Size
Post by: wkeithwilson@gmail.com on August 01, 2014, 10:27:48 am
Don't know if it's possible.....but.........can someone tell me if these wheels will fit a 1985 Silverado?  It has the stock 15" rally wheels now.  The wheels in the photos are 15 inch "Chevy" wheels.  If there's not a way to tell by the photo measurements, is there another way to tell without actually buying them first?  It's a Craigslist sale.

Email the guy and ask him to provide a picture of the backside of the rim that shows the bolt pattern.  All rims have that info on it.

Thanks for the reply.  I think I found my answer...no.

My understanding is these came off of an S10 and I measured my spare center hole and it was 3" across.  This one is only 2 3/4.  Sux because I could have gotten a good deal on the set.

S-10's have 5x4.75 pattern while the full size 2 wheel drive 1/2 tons have 5x5"

Just so you know for the future, to check bolt pattern on a rim, you check every other hole ( so #1 & #3 would give the distance).

Thanks for the info.  I never knew that about the hold distance.
