Title: Restoring grandpas truck - 1978 c10
Post by: Kungfu01 on August 14, 2014, 07:20:30 am
Hey everyone,

I was handed down my wife's grandfathers 1978 c10 w/ 96k miles back in April 2014. I drove to NW Missouri and towed it 700 miles back to Louisville, ky. I have been working on getting it running again after sitting for three years. It is up and running now but needs a lot of work as it is basically an all original 1978 that never saw a garage.

I have already put well over $1k into it with tires, a new brake master cylinder and several other odds and ends to get it back on the street.

It needs a completely new exhaust which I am tackling next.  I am going to go ahead and put headers on it which I have never done before so I will be searching the board for some help.
