Title: How to choose offset

I have a 1983 c10 that I'm building, and I've decided on 15x10s but I don't know how to choose what offset to get?  Also, those would be 5 on 5 correct?  Any info would be greatly appreciated

     Stock height, any drop, any plans on a drop in future ?
     More info is needed before someone here tells you what fits on their stock C10 and you buy wheels and then drop it or change something and your wheels will no longer work for you.

The front is the limitation.  You can got 5.5" on the front depending on the tire size.
