Title: Fuel Pump connector
Post by: hobbz on August 22, 2014, 09:54:05 pm
Is the fitting on the fuel pump that goes to the carb the same kind of fitting as on brake lines?

Can I use 3/8 brake line to make a new solid line up to the carb?

Thanks

One more question, is this the right connector to go from 8an to the hardline?

Factory style pump with 3/8" hose bib inlet and 5/8" inverted flare outlet?  Any return lines to deal with?

No return lines.  I have realized I am making this way to complicated.  What I will do it run rubber line from the tank to the frame rail, run hardline up the rail, then go back to rubber to connect to the pump.

On the other side of the pump, I will run hardline up to just before the carb, and run rubber to filter and then carb...
