Title: Engine Supplier Question
Post by: Project86 on August 26, 2014, 08:46:28 pm
Been thinking over a future project for my truck and have been doing some research on different crate motor suppliers, anybody have feedback (good or bad) on EngineFactory out of New Jersey? Did a quick search on here and didn't really find anything, was hoping to find some reliable feedback. Any recommendations on other suppliers would be welcome too. Looking for something around 300 - 350hp that would be good for a daily driver. Thanks.

I didn't have much in the way of local options, so I went with Jegs.  The shipping on GM Crate Engines is free, and they have a pretty good selection at what appeared to be decent prices (at least when I got mine last year).

Thanks for the info. I'm located in Arizona but am open to any supplier/shop if I find one I'm comfortable with that offers shipping etc. I'm looking at a couple local shops and have been hitting a few cruise nights to see what other locals are running in their projects.

Hard to beat a Goodwrench, or GMPP crate engine. Get cozy with your local dealer's parts guy and they'll usually match Jegs, et.al.
