So I've talked to a couple body guys and I'm getting wide range of estimates on replacing my cab corners. Anywhere from 150-500 to replace both sides outter only. I'm not normally a fan of taking shortcuts but can anyone throw some alternative options to cutting & replacing? I'm just getting started in my first restoration project on a 78 c10. So absolutely any advice is appreciated. Keep in mind my wife watches our bank account closely ;)

Post up some pics of what you got, the more the better so we can see and give you educated answer's, otherwise you are only going to get what everyone would do themselves to take short cuts or cut corners.

Just a few

I literally just bought it last week. First thing I'll be doing is removing all of those hideous lights and reflectors. As well as removing the tool box, bed rails and all of the trim (rust). I've already ordered a new grill, side view mirrors and tail lights. The truck was used to haul a race car to and from the track. I'm stoked about getting elbows deep in this. Still needing advice on the initial question up top.

What didn't you like about the $150 price?

The questionable skills of the guy that my be doing the job. Def an option tho. Just don't know him or seen any of his work

You will get what you pay for when it comes to body work.
Body work isn't cheap.

I'm glad we spent the $800 to get a pickup transported from AZ
Not a spec of rust
